I've called this particular style 'ZUTtam' as it is inspired by classic Scottish Tam O'Shanter. Ideal in windy, cold weather
The luxurious fabric is still traditionally woven on the Isle of Harris and I havepaired it with a cool, comfortable linen lining and faced the band with soft cotton moleskin to guard against itchiness.
Wear it with a denim chore jacket for an urban look or a long 20s style, narrow overcoat for more glamorous appeal.

I find it perfect for every day and excellent for bad hair days!
I always wear a beret or tam indoors in the winter when it is ideal for keeping me warm and my hair back as I am designing and sewing in my studio.
The ZUTtam style has a wideish band to keep it secure whilst the crown has more than enough room to comfortably accommodate long hair when tucked inside. Easy to wear chic Scottish style from France.
